Lembe Tiky

Summary

Lembe Tiky is a political scientist specializing in international relations and comparative politics. His research and teaching portfolio includes areas ranging from democracy and democratization to human rights, security and political economy. He is particularly interested in corruption in underdeveloped countries. In particular, he has produced a number of works on the obstacles to the development of Cameroon, on democratization trajectories in Africa. He has taught in high-ranking institutions such as the University of Texas, the Southern Methodist University, and since 2010 at the University of Connecticut. In addition to the magisterium, he provides services to the profession by working for the Association of International Studies (ISA) where he holds the position of Director of Academic Development.
